    Science objectives/activities planned:
Objective: Evaluate magnitude, temporal and spatial variability of elemental fluxes associated with hydrate decomposition and venting at the seafloor.
Alvin work: Plan to deploy a variety of benthic tools to sample fluids and gases; collect hydrates (in thermally insulated box, MBARI), carbonates, sediments (Alvin push cores), water samples(Niskins) and biological specimens (bio-box).

Night work: CTD, towed ZAPS package (OSU), Seabeam, 3.5 kHz Bathy. There is the possibility of some seismic work (Atlantis compressor and OSU gear)

WHOI shipboard scientific instrumentation desired:
    12 kHz Transducer
Oxygen Titration Apparatus
    3.5 kHz Transducers
Fume Hood
