    Science objectives/activities planned:
Recover previously deployed 9 OBSs,
Deploy additional 12 OBSs for one year deployment.
In the interim, deploy and recover up to 3 'temporary' OBSs perhaps twice depending on on-going work. All of this to be done as a night program.

Hope to also piggy-back a tidal pressure guage deployment on an Alvin dive.

    12 kHz Transducer
    Relay Transponder for Wire Use
Pinger for Wire Use

Is nighttime work anticipated on this cruise? Yes

Lithium batteries for OBSs.
SIO OBS facility deals with removaal and/or disposal of these materials.
