Alvin dives at two primary areas around 9 50'N and 9 28'N off axis for Macdonald. 2 dives for Schouten
which are part of 10 dive program
deferred to 2003 due to Atlantis
engine problems.

ABE surveying during Alvin operations only at 9 50'N on

night-time digital camera surveys using the CTD coax wire and stbd hydroboom for deployment

need 2 additional xponders for
coverage of W side of EPR axis
for ABE surveying.

hope is that Macdonald off axis
dives could be navigated with
initial survey of alvin for start
of dive and then DVL NAV
