    Science objectives/activities planned:
1) Deploy 10 concrete benchmarks via wireline, spanning the EPR axis out to 10 km west of the ridge axis.

2) Use Alvin to carry a pressure sensor from benchmark to benchmark to measure the depth of each benchmark during 4 dives. This is a three year project to measure the vertical motion of the benchmarks.
