    Science objectives/activities planned:
Main objective is to recover 4 CLIMODE moorings in the subtropical gyre north and east of Bermuda. We may also recover the GUSTO subsurface mooring and drag for remains of CLIMODE surface flux mooring. The latter two operations may not be required pending the outcome of a September 2007 Oceanus cruise. CTD stations will be occupied at each mooring location, at several sites along transects between moorings, and along a section across the Gulf Stream.

WHOI shipboard scientific instrumentation desired:
    12 kHz transducer
Oxygen titration apparatus
Chest freezer (OC and KN only)
CTD/rosette system
Salinometer
10-liter Niskin bottles

Is nighttime work anticipated on this cruise? Yes

    Critical MET sensors:
    Critical CTD sensors:
dual T, C, oxygen. Chl Fluorescence if available.

Do you need Seabeam? (AT and KN only)

Long baseline (LBL) transponder navigation? No. of xpndrs/nets:
