    Science objectives/activities planned:
1) Testing of unattended in situ voltammetric analyzer with underwater communications for two way communiation and data transfer

2) we will need elevators and drop weights for them for about 4 deployments.

3) another in situ analyzer will be used off Alvin to complete our time series analyses since the 2006 eruption. Data will also be checked against the unattended system.

4) Major samples will be used to collect vent samples.
